These terms cover your use of CS2 Crosshair Restore, provided by AC IT Solutions LLC. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the site is

CS2 Crosshair Restore is a free tool that helps you rebuild an old Counter-Strike crosshair for the updated CS2 crosshair settings. It reads an old crosshair code, typed settings or console lines in your browser, carries over what has a known new equivalent, and lets you choose the rest. It gives you console commands, a settings checklist, a crosshair.cfg file and a website link. You do not need an account and there is nothing to pay.

It offers assisted restoration, not an exact conversion. The conversion method explains what carries over and what does not.

Provided as is

The site is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without any warranty. In particular, there is no guarantee that:

• the result will look or feel the same as your old crosshair
• the commands, checklist or crosshair.cfg file will work in future versions of CS2, since a game update can change or remove settings
• the preview matches what you see in the game, since it is a schematic drawing
• the site will always be available, error free or unchanged

Your responsibility

• Keep a backup. Before you apply anything, save your current crosshair with the game's own controls, so you can go back to it. The site cannot see or restore your current game settings.
• Check the result in the game. Read the commands before you paste them into the console, then check every setting in the game menu. You decide what to apply to your game.
• Keep your own copy. The site does not store your crosshair on a server. If you want to keep a result, copy it, download the file, or use Save on this device.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for your own crosshair and to help others with theirs. Please do not:

• send automated requests in a volume that could slow down or overload the site
• try to break, bypass or probe the site's security, or interfere with other people's use of it
• use the site or its links to spread harmful content
• present a website link from this site as an official game share code or as something made by Valve

CS2 Crosshair Restore is an independent fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike and CS2 are trademarks of Valve Corporation. Other names mentioned belong to their owners and are used only to describe what the tool works with.

The legacy crosshair code decoder follows the open-source project akiver/csgo-sharecode, released under the MIT License. See the credits on the about page for the full notice.

Privacy

The privacy policy explains what happens to information when you use the site, including what stays in your browser and what is saved only if you choose to.
